OUR QUALITY

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose

Our blouses are made from materials containing 100% viscose (LENZING™ ECOVERO™).

Viscose is made from cellulose extracted from wood fibres.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are certified with the recognised EU Ecolabel for textile products (licence no. AT/016/001). This label is awarded to products that meet high environmental standards.

Important criteria for evaluation include production processes that limit the use of substances harmful to human health or the environment, and minimise significant environmental impacts.

LENZING™ and ECOVERO™ are trademarks of Lenzing AG.

Production & Social Responsibility

All our blouses are produced at Dibella in Bangalore, India.

Dibella is certified according to leading international standards for social and environmental responsibility. For example, Dibella is Fairtrade certified. Additionally, employees receive free medical care, pensions, and courses to help them improve their personal finances and hygiene within their local communities. However, it is important to emphasize that our blouses and shirts do not carry the Fairtrade label, as A Working Theory is not independently certified—there is currently no Fairtrade standard for viscose fibers.

Furthermore, Dibella supports 3,900 marginalized cotton-farming families in phasing out pesticides and increasing their economic income through Chetna Organics. They also invest in infrastructure, such as improving access to education for local children, and initiatives that ensure additional income—particularly for women in villages—outside the harvest season.
